Controllable from apps and smart assistants
TP Link Japan Co., Ltd. (TP-Link) will release a tape light "Tapo L900-5" that can be remotely controlled through the dedicated "Tapo" app and smart assistant on December 25th. The estimated selling price is 3600 yen.
A tape light is a tape-shaped lighting fixture that has many LEDs attached to it along with wiring. The Tapo L900-5 has a maximum luminosity of 2100mcd (millicandela), 16 million colors and a color temperature adjustment of 2500-6500K. Wi-Fi supports IEEE 802.11n/g/b 2.4GHz band.
10mm wide, 1.6mm thick, and 5m long. The main body can be cut to the desired length, and the back side is made of 3M (3M) tape, so you can stick it anywhere you like. Overall weight is 57g.
Power is supplied through the included dedicated controller and AC adapter, and operations such as on/off and dimming are performed using the dedicated controller or the Tapo app. It is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and can also be operated by voice.
