そこで、「自作3Dプリンタを組み立てよう!」 の大人気を受けて、始まりました「3Dプリンタを改造しよう!」です。

今回、改造に使う3Dプリンタはボンサイラボの「BS01+」です。

What is a foundation?

As the name implies, the "duct" of "fans" is a guide for the air sent from the fans on the head where you want to cool down the motor or cylinder.It is a very important part that affects the "heat", which is the key to the 3D printer of the FFF (thermal melting laminated) method used this time.

However, many people feel, "Is it really better just by attaching these parts?"Let me explain that.

The FFF 3D printer is molded by heating the material (filament) in a softened state, cooling and hardening.

If the extruded material does not solidify while it is hot, it will deform or hang, and the modeling accuracy will be worse.Therefore, by guiding the wind in this new foundation and applying it to the material that is pushed out, it can be beautifully shaped.

しかしここで注意が必要なのは、材料がABSの場合です。ABSは、造形中に急冷すると収縮して反ってしまうことがあるので、ファンダクトを使用しない方がよいです。このファンダクトは、PLAでプリントするときだけに使いましょう。
