I measure my weight and blood pressure daily. For that purpose, I used Omron's "Body Composition Monitor HBF-252F Body Scan" and "Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor HEM-6310F". Both can communicate with Android smartphones via NFC, and measurement results can be uploaded to a health support service called "Wellness Link" for management.
Omron's "Body Composition Monitor HBF-252F Body Scan" and "Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor HEM-6310F" can communicate with Android smartphones via NFC and upload the recorded weight and blood pressure to the "Wellness Link" service. As a result, the measured data can be graphed and used on Android smartphone apps and websites. The screenshot on the right shows logging in to the service and graphing the recorded data.In short, it is a record of body data for health management, but some people record it for dieting, and others record it as a life log. In Case of me, my blood pressure is high, so it's for the management. At the same time, the weight is also that, so it is also for this.
Aside from that, there have been some inconveniences so far, and it has not been smooth to transfer the above data from the weight scale and blood pressure monitor to the Android smartphone. It may be due to the model of the smartphone, but it was a problem that NFC communication did not go well. It is prone to transfer errors, and the data is transferred after several reconnections. But well, I was able to transfer it somehow, so I used it as it was.
At that point, Omron released iPhone-compatible weight scales, blood pressure monitors, and activity meters. It can communicate with an iPhone via Bluetooth connection, and measurement data can be uploaded to the wellness link service and viewed. There are three types of specific models: "Body Composition Monitor HBF-254C Body Scan", "Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor HEM-6321T" and "Activity Meter HJA-403C Calorie Scan".
From the left, "Body composition monitor HBF-254C body scan" "Wrist type blood pressure monitor HEM-6321T" "Activity meter HJA-403C calorie scan". Each can communicate with an iPhone via Bluetooth and upload measurements to the Wellness Link service. In addition, it seems that Bluetooth connection is not possible with devices other than iPhone. Each model can be connected to an Android device via NFC, and the weight scale and activity meter can communicate with a computer using a USB tray (sold separately). So I ended up buying all three models. I've been using it for about a month, so I'd like to report on the feeling of use.
